The Boundless Love Project supports community members attempting to live with more joy, wisdom and peace. Meditation is a practice that helps many of us to live more mindfully and skillfully. Spending time in nature is another useful practice to help us experience more peace, appreciate our nonhuman relations, and inspire us to value and protect the nonhuman family.

The Dharma Among Us: Animal Protection Resources
The Buddhist Common Ground Meditation Center hosted a Zoom event on Dec. 1, 2020 called The Dharma Among Us to discuss how the dharma and animal protection relate to each other. Boundless Love Project Mindfulness Teacher Freeman Wicklund was asked to speak at it and he created this list of resources to share with attendees.
URGENT: Ask Dept of Commerce and Gov Walz to File a Stay of Construction on Line 3 TODAY
Contact the Department of Commerce today and ask that they have the Attorney General file an injunction to stop our friends at Enbridge from building their expanded Line 3 tar sands pipeline. Let’s create a Beloved Community where our waters are safe, clean and healthy; Indigenous treaties are honored; and we elegantly, justly, and rapidly transition away from fossil fuel use to protect our climate for our families and future generations.

ACTION ALERT: Ask Attorney General to Stop Construction of Line 3
Black, white, or Brown, Native or newcomer, Minnesotans support safe, clean healthy water. We want Indigenous treaty rights honored. We seek an elegant, just, and rapid transition away from fossil fuels to protect the climate for us and future generations. Contact Keith Ellison today and ask he file an injunction to stop our friends at Enbridge from building its expanded Line 3 tar sands pipeline which will poison Minnesota’s water, destroy wild rice beds, and create 50 coal plants worth of greenhouse gas emissions 24-hours-a-day! Let’s live in Beloved Community, where our waters are clean and life-giving, Indigenous communities continue to have wild rice to harvest, our climate is allowed to heal, and all life thrives.

ACTION ALERT: Tell MPCA to Protect All Life by Stopping Line 3
Black, white, or Brown, Native or newcomer, Minnesotans support safe, clean healthy water. We want Indigenous treaty rights honored. We seek an elegant, just, and rapid transition away from fossil fuels to protect the climate for us and future generations.
But foreign-owned Enbridge keeps pushing their fossil fuel agenda on us Minnesotans. They seem to care more about their profit margins, than the health, safety, and wellbeing of us, or of all life on the planet! We still love the good people at Enbridge, but for their sake’s, and for the sake’s of all life, we can’t let them cause more harm.
Please send a pre-written email to the MPCA encouraging them to stop Line 3. Help us live in Beloved Community, where our waters are clean and life-giving, Indigenous communities continue to have wild rice to harvest, our climate is allowed to heal, and all life is allowed to thrive.
