Celebrate the Blessing of the Animals

October 4th is the day many celebrate the Blessing of the Animals. The date comes from the Catholic tradition, where October 4th is the Feast Day of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. However, many religious traditions are embracing the Blessing of the Animals to celebrate, pray for, and send goodwill towards our animal relations.

We encourage you to celebrate the Blessing of the Animals by watching this insightful TEDx Talk by Lesli Bisgould where she encourages us to re-evaluate our relationship with animals.
