Volunteering to Feed the Hungry

On Thursday, January 27, seven Boundless Love Project members volunteered for two hours to pack vegan and culturally appropriate meals with Feed My Starving Children at the Berean Baptist Church in Burnsville, MN. Our team packed 386 bags of food, or 2,316 meals which will be sent to children and families all over the world who are at risk for hunger, malnutrition, and starvation.

We were joined by numerous other volunteers from various faith and civic organizations and collectively we packed 32,616 meals. This is enough food to feed 89 kids for an entire year. Proof again of the wise adage that “many hands makes for light work.”

A glorious and sincere thank you to all of the volunteers who showed up to help!

Our actions to provide for those in needs, are the manifestation our ceaseless good wishes: May all beings and ecosystems be safe and protected, peaceful and happy, healthy and strong. May we all work to create a global Beloved Community where all life thrives.
