Welcome to the handouts page for the Mindfulness Fundamentals course. On this page you will find all of the handouts you need for the entire course. Download and print them. Or, if you don’t have access to a printer, follow the “Don’t have a printer?” instructions below.

Have a Printer?

1. Download and print these handouts. Print double-sided, if possible.

2. Download, print, one of these slogan cards. If possible, print the image on photo-quality paper. Use scissors to cut the printout into four slogan cards.

3. Once you have printed these, grab the following:

  • A folder to put the handouts in and keep them together

  • Your planner

  • A journal or notebook (preferably dedicated to this course)

  • A pen or pencil

Don’t have a printer?

No problem. You can still get all of the benefits from this course by following the instructions below.

1. Grab the following:

  • A journal or notebook (preferably dedicated to this course)

  • Your planner

  • A pen or pencil

  • Four note cards or similarly sized pieces of paper

  • A marker

2. Use the marker to write one of these four phrases on each note card (or piece of paper):

  • Breathe

  • Be here now

  • This, too, will pass

  • May I love myself no matter what

3. In your journal or notebook create a slogan and meditation log by following these instructions to make your page look similar to the example in the picture:

  • Draw a line down the page about half-an-inch from the left margin. At the top of this column label it “Date.”

  • Draw a second line down the page to create another half-an inch wide column and label this new column “Slogan".

  • Draw a third line down the page to create an inch-wide column and label this new column “Meditation.”

  • Then label the column that takes up the rest of the page “Insights and benefits.”

  • On the first line, to the left of the margin, write the current month. Then, in the date column, write today’s date. For each new line, number upwards consecutively until you reach the last day in the month. In the example picture, the date is April 20th.

  • On the next line, to the left of the margin, write the next month. Then, in the date column, write 1 and for each new line number upwards consecutively until the column is full. Use the included picture to help you understand these directions.

  • You have now created your Slogan and Meditation Log. We will explain how to use this form in class.

4. If possible, download the PDF to your device so you can read it there. Alternately, you can simply follow the instructions as given in class.
